To mark Women’s Month in 2021, DSC Attorneys held a drive to collect sanitary products for women and girls in need.
Our staff contributed generously to support the drive. We’re delighted that together, we managed to raise approximately R8 000 worth of sanitary products. This included both reusable and non-reusable sanitary pads.
The Women’s Month donations were distributed to:
- Anne’s Home (The Women’s Shelter Movement) – a Cape Town NGO that provides shelter, care and empowerment to abused, destitute and pregnant mothers with young children
- the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children – a centre for women and children who are survivors of abuse.
Both shelters were grateful to receive such generous donations.
