At DSC Attorneys, we’re delighted that our recent Golf Day not just met but exceeded an ambitious target, raising over R200 000 for the Woodside Special Care Centre.
Based in Rondebosch East, the Woodside Special Care Centre provides a home and specialised care for approximately 100 children and adolescents with severe intellectual and physical disabilities.
DSC Attorneys’ 2017 Golf Day
Hosted at Durbanville Golf Club, the golf competition featured 34 four-balls in the four-ball alliance format, with the two best scores to count.
DSC Attorneys’ team and helpers on the day.
A total of 136 competitors, along with DSC staff and supporters, took part, with everyone enjoying the opportunity to play good golf, relax, socialise and raise funds for a worthy cause.
Our congratulations to the winning team, Lukas Wentzel, Rudi Liebenberg, Mark Roux and Karl Straszacker.
About the Woodside Special Care Centre
Since 1976, the Woodside Special Care Centre has been providing invaluable care for children and young adults with severe disabilities. Along with 24-hour nursing, it provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. It also offers respite care to parents with disabled children.
To provide these services, which make a significant difference to individuals’ quality of life, the Centre relies heavily on the generosity of donors.
At DSC Attorneys, we’re privileged to be able to support the Woodside Special Care Centre and its good work.
