Candidate Legal Practitioner
Kathryn Wood is a motivated B.A., LL.B. graduate from Stellenbosch University with a strong foundation in both law and the humanities. During the course of her studies, she gained extensive tutoring experience, supporting high school and university students. Beyond academia, Kathryn has gained practical workplace skills through customer-facing roles, honing her adaptability, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
Her interests extend to leadership and social justice, having participated in a panel discussion on Servant Leadership; exploring themes of empowerment and the legacy of anti-apartheid activism. Combining legal knowledge, teaching expertise, and interpersonal skills, Kathryn is eager to contribute meaningfully to DSC Attorneys’ professional environment that values clarity, collaboration, and resilience. Kathryn presently assists Handrie Smalberger in her demanding litigation practice.
