Tim Cockcroft (LL.B., LL.M )

Tim CockcroftAfter completing his studies in 2005, Tim spent four years working and travelling in Europe.  Following his return to South Africa in 2009,  he secured articles with John Taylor and Associates Inc. where he gained valuable experience in commercial law and insolvency litigation.  He then completed his articles with DSC Attorneys, specialising in medical malpractice litigation and personal injury law. 

Tim was appointed as a professional assistant in August 2012 and continues to gain experience in medical malpractice litigation and personal injury law.

 

 

Handrie Calitz (B.Comm LL.B)

Handrie CalitzAfter completing her studies at the University of Stellenbosch in 2012, Handrie secured articles at DSC Attorneys where she gained extensive experience in all spheres of Personal Injury law, with an emphasis on High Court litigation. 

Handrie was appointed as a professional assistant in 2015 and continues to gain further experience in personal injury law.

 

 

Jacqueline Hudson

Jacqueline HudsonAfter completing her studies in 2012 at the University of Stellenbosch, Jacqueline secured articles at DSC Attorneys. She gained extensive experience in Personal Injury litigation, with an emphasis on High Court litigation. Jacqueline was admitted as an attorney in May 2015 where after she was invited to remain at DSC Attorneys as a professional assistant.

 

Cornelia Coelho (B. Soc. Sc. (Nursing) & LL.B)

Cornehila CoelhoCornelia holds a B. Soc. Sc. nursing degree from the University of the Orange Free State, a diploma in Intensive Care Nursing from the Nursing College of the Orange Free State, an advanced diploma in Health Science Education from the University of South Africa, as well as an LL.B degree from the University of South Africa. Cornelia spent almost 15 years working in both state and private health care facilities. The majority of these years were spent in critical care.

After completing her studies in Health Science Education, Cornelia spent almost 8 years lecturing nursing students (basic and post basic nursing) at a private nursing school in the Western Cape.

Having decided to use her vast experience in the medical field in pursuing a career in law, Cornelia undertook her LL.B studies through UNISA and secured articles with DSC Attorneys in 2014 and was admitted as an attorney in 2016.

Cornelia was appointed as a professional assistant at DSC Attorneys in December 2016, in the medical malpractice litigation department.
