In the matter of André Vernon Oosthuizen v Road Accident Fund a full bench of the Supreme Court of Appeal dealt with an appeal from the North Gauteng High Court (Pretoria) relating to that Court’s dismissal of the Appellant’s application to have his civil case transferred from the Magistrate’s Court for the District of Pretoria to the North Gauteng High Court.  

In the matter of Samuel Maimela & Francina Popela v The Makhado Municipality & 1 Other the Supreme Court of Appeal heard an appeal from the North Gauteng High Court (Pretoria), relating to a delictual action for damages which had been brought by the First Appellant in his personal capacity and by the Second Appellant who acted in both her personal capacity and in her representative capacity as mother and sole guardian of her 4 minor children.

In the matter of JM Grove v Road Accident Fund & 1 Other a seriously injured Plaintiff failed in her appeal against the judgment of the North Gauteng High Court, Pretoria.  The action related to a claim for damages brought by Ms Grove after sustaining serious injuries in a motor vehicle collision which took place on the night of 4 November 2005.

In the matter of The Member of the Executive Council for Transport for the Province of Kwazulu-Natal v John Murray Eastman & 2 Others the Supreme Court of Appeal dealt with an appeal from the Kwazulu- Natal High Court (Pietermaritzburg).
